Gordie Howe passed today at the age of 88.
Quite a mark he left on the game of hockey.
Fair winds!

I hate to say this, but I was a fan when Howe played for the Red Wings. I lived close enough to get Hockey Night in Canada. So, I got to see him more often than most Americans did. He's was what a first line R.W. was supposed to be. The G. H. hat trick has been around for a long time, but the guy it wrong. It's a goal, an assist and five min. for fighting. Two, just won't do.RIP, loved the Gordie Howe hat trick....goal, assist and a fight. His first one was 1953 I think. Just an all round classic guy.
