Passed away at 81 years old.
Wrestled with: Gorgeous George, Haystacks Calhoun, Andre the Giant, Vashon Brothers (Mad dog and Killer),Billy Grahm, Dick the Bruiser, The Crusher, Bruno Samartino, Iron Shiek, Bobo Brazil, and last but not least Baron Von Raske. There were many more that came and went but it seemed like the the golgen age of wrestling to a young kid fron the south side of Chicago. God speed Killer, now that was entertainment! :)

Oh dear!

Killer was really before my time, but I've seen some great footage over the years. He did make an appearance at the fair when I was a kid, but not in a wrestling role.

I know it's all bogus and predetermined, but some of my best memories are of watching rasslin' with my dad and grandfather. Those guys put their bodies through so much just to entertain people. You've got to give them some credit for that.

You look so much older in your avatar. I used to go see them at the Auditorium downtown, i thought it was fantastic!

Dammit, I'm going to have to change that thing. That's the 4th time in the last week I've heard that!

It doesn't represent how old I am, but it very clearly represents how old I feel (most of the time, anyway).

And how old you act?

In the 60's I won some paperboy contests and saw him a few times in Allentown PA, Maple Shade NJ, and probably Upper Darby PA too. Hard to remember exactly but he played a great heel.

RIP.

I enjoyed wrestling from that era and saw a couple of bouts back in good 'ol Brooklyn. I don't recall, but I probably saw him back then.
Can't stand the spectacle that "pro" wrestling has become.

I always thought that avatar WAS your picture...sorry dude...

Damn. The final bell for another legend.

My grandmother came over on the boat way back when. Couldn't speak a word of English. She believed pro wrestling was 'real' and she loved the bad guys. As a kid sitting in her living room watching wrestling with her was where I learned all my Italian swear words. Imagine a 5 ' 1" little old Italian woman screaming at the television when her 'guy' was getting beaten on. Priceless. It's also where I learned to love and appreciate pro wrestling. The match outcomes may be pre-determined, but the athletes still have to perform and do their moves without really hurting each other too badly.

Rest in peace, Killer.
