Yep, I did infact made someones day Sunday.
I have a buddy I have made through the 12 step program I am in his name is Jerry P.
Jerry is about 6'10 and a huge man he has a few issues, one of them is he used drugs too long and -well - never came back to reality, kind of like Jim on Taxi (seriously) He is hard to understand becasue he went deaf, but he does infact hold a MBA And ran large businesses for lots of dollars, Basically a Harvard Grad who now works sitting at the Salvation Army trailor accepting donations for Salvation Army.
He likes 'backwoods cigars" and cant afford much so when I handed him his first real smokes he was thrilled. Sunday I hooked him up with a cutter and 2 boxes of smokes - and a smal humidor. He was happy as a clam.
Strange when doing something like this you would not expect that much gratification. But I decided to now always order 1 box of clearance smokes for Jerry every time I make an order for myself.
Everyone probably knows a Jerry or at least has seen one, I find it valuable to spend some time with him each week.
But for the grace of god go I.
