I have been sucked in to the devil once again. This time it was for 7 5-packs of Rocky Patel Signature Toros. All I was able to find on them was that they are a Cigar.com exclusive of only 200 boxes. And that their selling them for $10 per stick or $160 for a box of 20.

So I guess what I want to know is have any of you guys tried them yet, and if so what do you think of them?

They are a made of well aged tobacco cigar with no hint of harshness. They are, however, mild which is why more sophisticated smokers may prefer a stronger stick. They have a good draw and are well constructed. They are only worth the money if you like a well made, good draw mild side cigar. They would be a good first cigar of the day. I don't know if I would buy another box of them however as my taste run different. I have them around for a change of pace cigar not one for my main stay. I offer them to good friends who are looking for a fine mild smoke.

You will not be disappointed in them if you are not into medium to strong smokes. I find the price however too steep for what you get. The big question is if there is an equal well made, mild cigar out there for less of the price. There probably is but as I frequent stronger smokes, I could not give you advice on that. I hope this helps. Always remember, as it is said thousands of times here, you are the ultimate judge of the smoke and whether it is worth the money. If you don't smoke too many cigars a week and want some mild, well made cigars, then they may be worth it. Good hunting!!

Thanks for the info saxman. I don't mind a mild cigar, I'll try most different types of cigars. I don't want to box myself in to a narrow selection of "stronger" cigars like I see some of the "sophisticated smokers" doing around here.

My pleasure, For Hire. I am glad I could give you my humble opinion. You enjoy the hunt because the search in finding that right cigar is just as much fun as the finding.
