Looking for a "what would you buy" between the two. Are the sungrown super ass-kickers with nicotine or just a lot of flavor? Luv full body, not looking for a nicotine high halfway through tho.

Smokig for 15yrs, one a day but still like medium to med-full without the need to stop from nicotine.

I don't remember getting any nic buzz off of either of them, but that's me. They are completely differant smokes. I prefer the 92

I have been smoking the 92s for quite a while. I just finally tried the Sungrown last week, and while it was a decent smoke, I didnt think it compared to the 92.

Thats just my 2 cents!

SGs, easily. I love the PCs as an afternoon quick smoke. The larger ones do pack a punch, though.

Not a fan of the 92s at all or sumatra wrappers in general.

Another vote for the '92

But I love the Sungrown in PC size!

I have never had a bad nic-hit from any RP, including the Edge.

I have to agree with JHolmes on this one. The Sungrown is one of my favorite "go to" smokes. Starts out like a little pepper bomb then chills out into a nutty, smooth smoke. The '92 aren't bad at all, but I have found them to be a little hit or miss.

Wanna try a good little RP, check out the Nordings...

My .02...

Another vote for Sun grown PC. I've strayed away from the rest of his cigars but I'll still smoke a SG PC. Tasty lil buggers.

I do not enjoy the 92 much, but I love the sungrowns! I have a box of toros resting right now. :) Also maybe try the Edge Sumatra. Those are wonderful as well!

of course it all depends on what you like, if you were to buy me a box though :sign: , I'd ask you to get me the SG's, great fresh, and better with time.

Just making sure, but I hope you have tried but the 92s and the SGs already. If not, why not buy a few of each a decide for yourself which you like better?

Actually I got the box and a 9 smoke deal that includes a 90, 92 and a few others I'd like to try. With all the positive opinions of both these cigars I can't see how any of them would be bad in comparison to super cheap smokes. I can get along with most anything other than those that taste like an ashtray 1/3 into the cigar. A nice cheapee I just bought a few of is the JR "not quite good enough" 4.5x50 naturals. Decent smoke for the money, doesn't give me that ashtray taste and I can smoke it to a nub. Great golf smokes. If those taste good to me these gotta taste good too I figure!

A most recent new fave is RyJ Vintage #7. Smooth character, nice smoke volume, rich and something I'd call a medium for me.

BTW, anyone feel these aged smokes are best burned in short order for best flavor or will I still get a good smoke after 6 months- year aging?

I like them both. Prefer sun growns . as far as the vintage line, the seconds are a very nice smoke but cost much less .

Sungrown, but don't spend all that money. Get the SG Factory Selects from Famous. They're supposedly rejected because of wrapper color.

Doc.

with those factory selects do you notice a variance in flavor from smoke to smoke with wrapper color changes? Glad I got the SG, seems like it overwhelms here.

I don't, but you need to find out for yourself.
