I think the original price if bought in France was 16.50 Euros, but (if memory is correct) one of the online retailers not in France was selling it for $38.

IIRC they were $18 a stick when they first came out, now $25

That's what I remember as well Sam. The exchange rate was much worse back when they came out, so I think US$ was around $23-28 range.
