sad news

i'll be off the board for a few days. i got a call last night from my sister that my dad had passed away.
he went quietly in his favorite chair holding his crossword puzzle book and pencil.

i'll be in fla. for the weekend and will post when i get back.

i'll tell you i'm about tired of death. june of 2001 my mom passed,2 months later my uncle who lived there and helped take care of mom passed, and now dad.

it's a natural part of life that brings so many emotions. your sad because thy're gone.
happy because they're not suffering any more (mom had bad emphysema).
and content and comfortable with all the memories they've left behind, good and bad.

i hope mom enjoyed her peace and quiet while she had it cause dad has caught up with her again.

i think the hardest thing for me is, i went through 2 bad marriages and mom and dad listened to all the griping and helped through all the stuggling and now i've definitely found my soulmate who mom loved from day one and dad was completely taken with and now they're not here to really enjoy her with me.

well,enough rambling.i'll be back in a few days
