Their new restaurant will replace Merchants NY, which will close in August. 1125 First Avenue (62nd Street).

I'd hate to see another cigar shop shut down due to the current economy and the mind blowing New York taxes.

Tone they made a door that lets you in by the bar along the wall that the humidors were on. i have no idea how they got a door there cause i dont remember there being room on that side but they did. its crazy cause you look up and all the fixtures are gone the place looks stripped.
i did not go downstairs to ask any question but it looked open just the time frames may be off because the sign on the main door to the restaurant said opens at 5pm i did not know is that was everyday or just that day.
