I will fess up here, relutantly as I do not want to appear self-agrandizing.

My company is on the skids, and my wife's job is being relocated to Denver. She is a Colorado native, so this is the equivalent of throwing Brer Rabbit in the briar patch.

I was trading with Bruce for an ashtray, and asked if he might know of any job leads around Denver. Not only does he help, but put me in touch with a key executive at his company that has an opening. The job applicaiton did not work out, but not due to any lack of effort on Bruce's part. An incredibly kind and generous act by a BOTL who at best knows me from a few notes about an ashtray.

I was on a jury for four weeks shortly after Bruce's help, and did not have the time until recently to thank Bruce for his incredible generosity and also want to wait on delivery of some stick I thought he might not have.

So Bruce, my way of saying Thank YOU !

I know. There were six lawyers in my jury pool. I mean, I figure I show up, take a Dirk Pitt paperback, but NOOOO, the strik every lawyer in the pool but me.

I get stuck on a murder trial with TWO defendants, so its like two trial rolled into one. Four weeks!. So I had jury duty by day and work by night. Not my idea of a good time.
