Season opener of Battlestar Galactica!

It is pretty good imo. The next few weeks should have some great tv, with the bowl, this premiere, the lost premiere, the heroes premiere....

I hope they don't lose their audience. I caught just one ad mentioning Sunday airings and forgot so glad I decided to stop by tonight during the colts game. I prefer the Friday Night Sci-Fi team match of BG and Dr. Who.

I don't think they'll loose anyone. I watch a lot of programs on the Sci-Fi Channel "From the basethment of the sthcience building.", and they have been advertising the change to Sunday evening for several weeks.

Someone dies...someone discovers that they are a Cylon...and someone finds the road to Earth. And I'll have to tape it because I get up so frigg'n early.

I wish I had permission.........er I mean I choose not to :whistling: , smoke inside. In front of the tv, good pale ale, good stick. Oh well, then I wouldn't get to enjoy the sub freezing weather.

And another good reason. :)

...am I missing something? TV guide and the Battlestar Galactica web page both say tonight's episode is "Rapture".....and the last one in season three....??

New day / time, yes, but new season....??

Cheers - B.B.S.

New episode, and technically not a new season. It's actually the second part of a 2 parter - manufactured through advertising and forced into a pseudo season premier by splitting the season.

Sometime recently the major networks decided to split the seasons of most of their big shows in 2 and call the last episode before the hiatus a finale, and the first new episode after a few weeks a season premier. Lost only showed 4 or 6 episodes before taking a 2 month break after being off for months (it comes back in a couple weeks), and I think it's going to eventually ruin the ratings.

It's stupid, because the episode numbers in the 2 mini seasons will all be sequential to one season (and when you buy the DVD's, they will be in one season's set), but marketing rarely makes any sense when compared to facts. Plus this way, they get to stagger in crappy filler shows to justify the breaks.

One of my favorite shows. Was really looking forward to watching this tonight, but since it started 20 minutes ago...no satellite signal. Why? Its friggin' snowing here in Tucson. :0
