Seasoning a humidor

Using 84% boveda packs to season a new humidor for 1-2 weeks, what RH percentage needs to be reached to start using it?

It should be steady between 65-70%. I keep my humidors at around 65%, as I feel the cigars smoke better at that RH.

As was mentioned in another thread. Use distilled water and a bowl. You’ll likely get better results. search is your friend.

Did you even read the board? There are lots of threads about seasoning a humidor. Seasong with a boveda, isn't the most optimal way either.

After reading through some more threads, I've put away the 84% Boveda packs and replaced them with two small dishes with distilled water in them. In two hours the RH was higher than with the Boveda packs.
