I keep hearing these two terms passed around and was wondering what is the difference. I mean, I know seasoning is for the initial humidification of a new humidor and recharging is a maintenance function. However, as far as the task, what is the difference?

Far as I know, the process should be very similar if not identical. Id imagine depending on how bad the drop in humidity was to cause you to recharge, that its likely a quicker process. As the wood should still be somewhat "seasoned" in most cases.

This is not to confuse the term recharge with the refilling of your humidification device.

Edit: I can't spell

I've seen people talk about recharging their beads (adding more water to them), but never recharging the humidor.
