Let me start out by saying I am not sure if this is the right place to post this.

A couple of weeks ago I ordered two cheap lighters from sevendeals.com and much to my dismay they did not work. I even had a friend look at them. I thought I didn't put the fuel in right. But he purged it and refilled it and the lighter still did not work. I e-mailed them to let them know that I wanted to send the lighters back. The only response that I got was talk to someone in sales. So, I e-mailed the sales department. Never got one response. Then I just decided to send the lighters back. I found there phone # in the yellowpages and left two messages. To this day no one has called me back, e-mailed me back and I have not received a refund check. This is what I get trying to save a buck or two.

Just thought I would pass this info on.

End Rant

Thanks for the info. I filed a complaint. This just sucks.

Looked on the website, I have several lighters just like that, which were purchased at the local cheap store "Dirt Cheap Cigarettes and Beer", my cost $2.95. I think I bought 3 of those (I call them Gas Station Lighters) and two still work fine. I had to adjust the flame level severl times with the wheel on the bottom, but they work fine. Sucks to have paid $9.00 and still not gotten a working lighter. I at least got to make sure they lit up before buying those cheap pieces of ......

Good luck chasing that bad actor down.

Sorry to hear of your problems. You probably already know this, however, I thought I'd mention it. File a dispute with the credit card that you charged the items to. I've done this numerous times when an on-line vendor has failed to honor their obligations, always with positive results. Best of Luck.
