Well Doc, it's a very long story but let me try and give you a short rundown:
He was on this site and actually a pretty good member for the year 2004. I'll be the first to admit, I thought he was intelligent and was a positive influence here but WOW was I wrong.

A 19 year old punk named Zac Herrin from Seal Beach, CA started a site in January of 2005 called "letstalkcigars"
He
spammed (<<<click for a link)other cigar sites including CigarPass in order to spread the word.
Many of us including Scotty signed up on that board and told him we weren't happy with what he did.
Zac banned many of us except PuroBrat who had pretty much been run off of here and everywhere else. Zac made PuroBrat a "moderator" after only knowing him for two days. Zac also continued to lie and say that screen name "letstalk" was NOT him even though Rod confirmed through an IP check that it was indeed him. Zac's lying and shear stupidity upset MANY people here.
So sometime in February, Scotty sees an opportunity to become a bigshot "mod" and talks Zac into making him a mod.
Scotty then proceeds to screw over and back stab his friends from CigarPass by recommending that they be banned, he deleted their posts for no good reason, he'd lock thread and issue his lame-assed "strikes"
(which is a Nazi-style tactic employed by his asshole/loser left wingers on one of his debate boards "AmericasDebate" where they abuse the living hell out of anyone who disagrees with them, even when they've done nothing wrong) many times after the fact. Main point being that Scotty had no clue what he was doing. "Mods" are like mall cops, there okay for a while but for the most part they're useless...
People question Scotty and he becomes nasty and defensive.
Now many of us don't know the exact details but aparently Scotty was in chat here on CigarPass one night with Rod and a couple of other people.
Scotty was VERY RUDE, NASTY, ARROGANT, BELLIGERENT, ABUSIVE, VULGAR and as a result he was banned from this site.
LetsTalkCigars collapses because it's run by people who have NO IDEA how to run a cigar board (PuroBrat, Scotty, Zac, etc.) so Scotty has no place to go.
In April, he shows up on CigarSmokers
You know the rest of the story there......
Scotty is run off CigarSmokers in July of 2005 culminating with his "1000th post" contest which he rigged to purposefully screw Shagaroo.
Scotty signs up at CigarRebellion and lasts less than two weeks.
Scotty then goes over to CigarWeekly, whines about people "picking on him" so the admins suspend HIM for a month for whining :laugh:
Scotty tries CigarUtopia and the people that run CU are on to him and his BS right away so he gives up there.
Scotty tries to come back to CigarSmokers (he had not been banned officially) with a half assed apology, is told his apology is half assed and he has to do better, he ignores that advice so his banning poll is started and he loses 22-3 :laugh:
NOW Scotty has reappeared on StogieChat and is now SUCKING UP to Eric Turner (the site owner of StogieChat who is a hot headed, loose cannon, 100% certified LOSER) which I find disgusting since Scotty was THE biggest critic of StogieChat last January (see the "Eleuthardt!" thread in the Lobby).
My memory isn't as good as it used to be as I'm sure I've left out MANY MANY more details and examples why this guy is bad news but I guess you'll just have to take my word for it, Scotty is just plain NFG.
