Ok gentlemen (and I use that term loosely), it's time for a little fun. Now that I've gotten the hang of making music with AI, let's do something different that lets everyone show off their twisted sense of humor. This is part game, part contest.
Objective: Create the funniest CigarPass song possible, together.
And because I couldn't resist…
How it works:
- We collaboratively write the lyrics, one line at a time.
- Anyone can play.
- Each day, you may submit up to 2 new lines (in two separate posts).
- The next person continues the story/song with their line(s).
- We'll keep building until I call "wrap up". At that point the thread closes soon after, but you can dump in as many final lines as you want (daily limit no longer applies), one line per post.
- Once the thread is locked, I'll feed the whole thing into AI to polish it into proper song lyrics and structure. Some lines may get tweaked slightly for flow/rhyme/meter, but you still "own" your original line.
- I'll run the final lyrics through an AI song generator to create the song, and post it for everyone to hear.
After the finished song is posted, we'll have a separate voting thread. You vote for the single funniest line in the song. The member whose line gets the most votes wins a small selection of cigars from my humidor (mostly yard gars, but I might throw in at least one good stick for fun).
Note: This isn't in the official contest forum on purpose, I want people to initially jump in because they actually want to be clever and funny, not just because there's a prize.
Next thread will kick off the actual song and I'll post the first line there.
