Should Auctions be allowed at CP?

Only if it's an auction for anything other than cigars or cigar related stuff... Wait! How 'bout we auction trader comments??? Obviously really good trader comments would bring in the big bucks!!! HA! "So so" trader comments would be for guys who don't want newbies haunting them for a trade or for guys who wish to discourage said newbers from bombing them in hopes of a retribution payday.

On a different board that i'm on they do it but the money goes to help pay for the site.

I'm just not a fan of the auction idea. It just sucks to be you if you never check in to see what is up for grabs. I have kicked myself on many occassions for missing out on a split or group buy. Auctions, especially those done by PM, leave a bad taste in the losers mouths.

If ya have a box to sell, sell the damn thing. "Early bird gets the worm" has merit!
