SWMBO just cleaned up the front and back sitting areas, and repainted the back furniture and got new cushions. She’s pretty handy that way, I think I’ll keep her.

My favored smoking area and near the barrel cooker for when I’m smoking something (I mean other than the cigar-pork shoulder tomorrow). You can see some of my ashtrays under the table. The gazebo is my favorite spot.



Second area where I retreat if it’s too blowy because it’s a little protected from wind is out front.

Since we now live in a Senior Community, this is where it happens. Grill, fireplace, ceiling fan, and a small creek to the right. However, in our past life for 34 years, the second photo is what we enjoyed.

@dawgie It looks like most of your pool area is enclosed? If so, that's pretty nice! I'd like to put one of those clear atriums over my entire yard; would make for much easier gardening (less bugs to deal with).

Yes sir, our whole back area (they call it a lanai here) is completely screened. It does keep most of the insects out, but the no-see-ums still get in. They do make a finer screen that will keep them out. When we completely rescreen, we will upgrade to that. The downside is that every time we get a good whack from a hurricane we have to replace a few panels.
