My Mom still makes me watch this every year. I still laugh…

Die Hard is not a Christmas movie!
Agreed 10000000000%! Just because it happens in December, does not make it a Christmas movie.

What about Trading Places?

HT
Unlike Die Hard........or Rambo......., Trading places does at least acknowledge it is Christmas in the move. And there are scenes revolving around Christmas. No Christmas scenes in Die Hard or Rambo!

And yes, I take this more serious than I probably should!!!! :p:p

Here is a list of a few other movies which AI puts under the heading of ..........

Lethal weapon
The long kiss goodbye
The ice harvest
L.A. Confidential
Goodfellas
Die Hard
American psycho
Eyes wide shut
Mean Girls
The apartment
Trading places
Batman Returns
Metropolitan
Edward Scissorhands

The list goes on and on.

I always start the season with this movie, it’s a masterpiece. The scene where the dukes are explaining commodities to Eddie is one of the best scenes ever filmed.
I've traveled to philly quite a bit the last few years for work and have been to a few of the filming locations. The mens club where Billy Ray gets pinched by the police is right next to the square where he begged for money. The duke and duke bank building is on broad street a block or two south of city hall. The townhouse is too far of a walk from where I stay downtown though but you can look up the sale page of it to see the pics. There is a website of filming locations.
