Tonight after the kids went to bed, my wife let me smoke a cigar in the house! Holy Cow. I was going out to the deck to have a beer and a small cigar after installing the DSL. My lovely wife said why go outside, its about 60 F. I siezed the oppotunity. Because the new house has an attic fan and a downdraft on the stove, I sat at the kitchen bar in front of the downdraft, turned on the attic fan and lit up the Monte 5 turned on the tube and was living large. The new house has paid off once anyway.

60 degrees? :0 It's 72 here in CT right now, perfect weather for smoking outside tonight :thumbs:

Most times though, I usually smoke in my basement. I have a hepa filter air purifier that I run while I smoke and give the room a shot or two of Glade or Frebreeze when I'm done and you'd hardly ever even notice that I smoked in the house

The finished basement works perfect as a "walk in" humi in the summer. The temp stays between 65 & 70 and I run a DE-humidifier to keep it at 60 - 65 %RH. Needless to say, I don't add water to the beads in the humis for about six months. Winter is another story, the air gets awfully dry.

60F! This is perfect cigar weather!!! Why would you not want to smoke outside I just smoked a Don Lino on my back patio yesterday with temperatures 55F. Yes I also enjoyed a nice cold beer. I guess when you lived in Wisconsin all your life these temperatures become normal

Yeah it's been in middle 50F all week here in Michigan. Perfect outside weather for cigar smoking.

Anybody who's ever been to Houston wouldn't believe it. Right now it's 83 outside, in AUGUST! I woke up to about 69-70, and it's sunny and beautiful. I've never seen this in the hottest part of the summer, it's usually 90% humidity, rains everyday, 105 degrees outside. This is great, I think I'm going to quit my job just to stay outside.

It's supposed to stay like this for 5 more days!

We're getting a cold front coming through Vegas. Only going to be 97-98 the next couple of days. Winterlike weather for us in August.

I would like a herf here sometime. The temp outside tonight is about 53 F. If I smoke outside I can't watch TV either. It would be nice to have the family room outside. It is usually 90% + humidity and 90 F+ temp, could this be global warming? As the polar ice caps melt, is there a refridgeration process taking place?

Just watching a ball game (Cards 10 Brave 4), having a Guiness and about to light up now that I know what the ruels are. All welcome if you can get here within the hour. Going to the ball game tomorrow night and sitting in the first row on the first base side but behind the tarp so there wil be no diving...err uh..... rolling on the field after a foul ball.

No absolutely not! This summer serves as a monkey wrench on the global warming theory. Though fanatics will try to dismiss it, they are only fooling themselves.

Just maybe in 10 or so years many will be saying we are heading for an ice age.
