I decided to burn a couple of my 'prize' possessions last week, and i have to say i was underwhelmed. Was it with that many years on them, do they mellow out to the point of the flavors being so subtle they are hard to identify, or were my expectations too high? I thought they were both very good smokes, and i did all the things to keep my taste buds clean and such, but they didn't knock me off my seat. Discuss...

Did you swallow midget goo within twenty a four hour period of smoking those sticks Frank? ??? Could have had something to do with it.

Dude, that's just wrong, but you do sound like you speak from experience

my midgets are all fine females, so quit asking me for the little boy midgets...

Neither should be that subtle... they are only 7-8 years old. Perhaps you just don't care for aged cigars?

I dunno, haven't smoked enough to know, i guess? Maybe my taste buds were fried those 2 days, or maybe my expectations were too high? I was surprised. If i have the chance to jump through a million hoops to get some more, i'd do it in a heart beat, they were enjoyable

Were they stored properly before and after you obtained them?
