So my dad and I just made a Father/Son Pact

So, today was my best friend's (my dad) 60th b-day. We somehow got started on a discussion about bucket lists. I told him that the first item on mine was to play a round of golf with him were the game was born. We talked about it for a while, and decided that we are going to make a trip to Scotland and play St. Andrews!

This will probably be 2 or 3 years out, but I can't wait to be able to sit one the first tee with my dad (cigars in hand) and be thankful for everything that he and my mom have done for me (and my family).

I imagine that is going to be pretty amazing. The wind might put a curb on the cigars until you get back to the clubhouse.

My father and I have one of those pacts too. We try our hardest not to commit patricide/infanticide! :laugh:

Do not wait to long to do things with your father. I had many plans with mine. Hardest days for me was the days after he died.
