First let me comment on my statement "more giving than receiving" and get that behind us. I never meant that people hadn't received anything after sending something out, even though I'm sure that did happen as it does to every board that holds a Secret Santa. I read the SS 2004 forum and in particular Joe M.'s post about all the people whining to him about what they had received. And CC also made a similar comment (which he has since edited, funny how that goes isn't it). So I wasn't lying or making things up. CC and his posse just decided to use it to bust my balls.

Well it isn't working gentlemen so you can stop now.

Let's move on to some other things I personally think needs commenting on. There are FOGs here that should be shown respect for what they bring to CP, AVB contributes his vast knowledge of whiskey he has from personal experience, The Master and Moki bring their knowledge of cigars that most of the membership either dream about or mortgage the house to try. These are just a few of the older members that deserve respect, not for their post count or membership date, but for what they contribute.

Now to the "Posse" other than controversy what do they contribute? I received many PMs from members stating "These guys are dickheads but you need to apologize to keep the peace." Why should I apologize when I did nothing wrong? Sorry I'm not a member of the French government and the word appeasement isn't in my vocabulary.

My word to the Posse is this, you may eventually get rid of me (even I get tired of drama but it will not be for breaking the rules I agreed with when I joined), but change is coming regardless, enough members have seen through you and the way you conduct business and have realized you are not protecting the forums but only feeding your egos.

I could go on and on but there really is no need. Most everyone here has an open mind and can see what's going on. Of course want to be sycophants will always take the side of the unjust out of fear but that is also normal at an open forum, and has been since the Greeks invented them.

Lastly, to the person I was assigned for Secret Santa, no need to worry about this BS effecting what you receive from me. I've always have believed in leading by example. At least as far as I am concerned you're going to have a very merry Christmas indeed.

This guy (wurm) let this simmer for two days, building on itself. All he had to do was say, "Oops, maybe what I said wasn't accurate." Instead, he denies that he meant what everyone thinks he meant. He gets what he gets now.
