Jesus of Cool, I'm bad, I'm nationwide
Jimi Hendrix took the stage to close out the Woodstock Music and Arts Festival. His 2 hour set was the longest live performance of his career and cemented his legend in the public eye. While perhaps only 150,000 of the over 450,000 people remained most of them were too tired, stoned or sleeping to see him. I wasn't there but did get to see him twice previously and those are some of my most cherished concert memories.
