My 400 ct. humidor was not lined with spanish cedar. I kind of like that distinct, traditional humidor smell. Can anyone point me in the right direction to the size, type, or other information about cedar planks and how I can go about this?

Can I just throw a few strips in my humidor and let it adapt to the humidor to get that smell?

Thanks for your help

Rockler sells planks. Spanish cedar is very expensive. 1/4 to 3/8 inch should be plenty. However you place them, they will give you their wonderful aromas and assist you in humidity regulation.

Go to your local cigar shop. A lot of boxes have spanish cedar inserts. See if they will let you have a couple of them, or if they will sell them to you fairly cheap.
