The Limitado 2005 release was awesome. Best 5 vegas cigar by far.

Anyone had the 2006 release?

And if you have, let us know how they were!

never had any before, but I have been trying to get a box of these, but they have always been out of my reach. I might bid one more time for the box on cbid. Multiple reviews on Top 25 Cigar call this spicy, creamy, and stronger than the 05' edition. I like creamy cigars, I like 5 vegas stuff.

Tried only one(belicoso) but did not like it. Out of whole serie of 5Vegas the only one's I like were series A.
Than I would put those Limitada and after that all others.
Don't get me wrong... Limitada is not that bad, but for those money you can get much better.
All others 5Vegas were plainly not to my taste at all. I would not waste my time on it even if they are free.
Just my 2 pennies.
But you know your taste is different, so, it is better to try 'em yourself

Heres a quick review -- maybe i'll post a full one later on whenever i'm not dead tired. (i smoked it at 2:30 am after work)

prelight aroma - light earthy and slightly sweet smelling
construction - very good until the wrapper cracked about 2/3 in and forced me to quit. toasting and lighting the cigar was very easy and had some wrapper burn problems. possibly due to it being about 19 degrees out and 20-25 mph winds.
The cigar started very creamy with a nice hint of white pepper in the back of your throat, similar to that of a "A" series. THe A series is definitely much stronger than the Limitada 2006. After the initial spice, there was some underlying creamy caramel taste accompanied by nuttyness. The cigar varied between these tastes and was a smooth white smoke throughout. (aged 3 1/2 months) The flavors were much more discernable with more age on it, the 'new'taste was still present with the last one i had 3 months ago. Overall, a good smoke, i'd say it was a vega gold filler with an A series wrapper.
