This is a tribute to two greats. Matt Martinez died Friday after a battle with brain cancer. Matt was a lover of the leaf and used to close his restaurant just for our post Turkey Day Crawl and his face would light up when we gave him cigars after. Anyway this is a way to pay tribute to Matt....also at Pearl (on Commerce and Pearl streets in downtown Dallas) The Rebel Jazz Alliance is performing paying tribute to the late great Maynard Ferguson. This should be a great time. We'll start around 5pm the music starts at 7. See yall there.
