I'd like to publicly thank two fine BOTLS for helping me add these two bottles to my collection. I had both a few years ago when they came out but didn't plan on "collecting" either at that time. Thanks to both I now have another set.

PSTAN went out of his way to stop at a liquor store in OK to pick up one of the few Jim Beam Distiller's Masterpiece Cognac finish 18 yo bourbons I could find anywhere.

Devil Doc did the same in his part of the country for the Jim Beam Distiller's Masterpiece Port finish 20 yo bourbon.

I'd have never been able to do this without the kindness of these two BOTLS whom I only know from CP. Thank you both so much.

AVB, you had both and drank them? How were they? Look dayumn good.
Now, these you intend to keep as collector's items?

Yes, I had both previously and these are most likely going to be held on to for some time. The cognac finish is interesting and unlike any bourbon I've ever had but the port finish goes down soooooo easy and is certainly one of the top bourbons I've ever had.
