Springfield MO

I am going to Springfield MO this weekend for a soccer tournament with my 14 year old daughter and her team. Is there a place where people from the area go to have a cigar, or is there anyone from there who might like to meet up?

Short story.....last night was her first outdoor game and I was smoking a small Tat on the way to the game. This was her first game with her new team. When we arrived at the game, she asked me to ditch the cigar as she would be embarassed for me to walk to the field with a cigar. I oblidged and ditched it. When we walked down to the field, her coach arrived with a lit stogie firmly planted in his jaw. Then he asked where Mr. Berry was and wanted to make sure he was going to the tournament as he always brings the best cigars and whiskey. HA! I winked at my daughter and she just smiled back, kind of embarassed that she asked me to toss the one I had lit. Mr. Berry showed up last night bearing gifts, AF Hemmingway Classics. At 20 degrees F it was cold watching the game but enjoyable. I think I am going to get along just fine with parents on the team.

As for cigar places, there are quite a few. The local shop is called Just For Him and is very friendly with a small lounge/seating area. If you're looking for cigar-friendly restaurant/bar, try Fox & Hound.

Or, depending on what time you're free, you can try Casa de Carroll . We just had twins so my wife has limited my access to the mancave for awhile, but I might be able to swing a cigar or two down there depending on what the 6 and 4 year old have going on.
