I"ve got an app on my phone that points out places that have been on MvF and Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, as well as other food shows.
Yesterday I found my way to Bridge (rated highly on Beeradvocate) and Stanley's Cigar Lounge.
Bridge was really good. They had 20-30 taps with a good variety of craft beers. I can best describe the food as fusion cooking. They had things like Asian brisket, Cuban chicken, and other mixes of flavors. I ended up with smoked duck tacos and IPA cheddar and chips. It was really good and the price seemed fair for being downtown.
Stanley's was ok. The lounge part is nice. The have a full bar, but nothing that jumps out and grabs you in the beer selection. The cigar selection was ok. The prices were a bit high to me, but I don't know what taxes they are paying here. What makes it nice is that if you buy something, like a beer or two, you are welcome to smoke your own sticks. I'll probably go back during this meeting when I have a chance to smoke.
