The Steelers have only retired two previous jersey numbers, #70 Ernie Stautner, and #75 Mean Joe Greene.

This year will mark the 50th anniversary of "The Immaculate Reception" and the Steelers will retire Franco's number at halftime of the Raiders game on Christmas eve!
