Stogie Review Video Review

Stalker! I was just watching one on Tat Series P before you posted this.
 
I watched a couple of these on youtube, some of it was informational........if you watch the one where he seasons a humi and you see his humi, that sucker is nice!!!
 
does he really? i thought this guy was suppose to be some sort of prefessional or somthing but i found his insights to be totally wrong and/or innacurate
 
i love watching people stare off into space... i mean read from their note cards and stumble all over themselves.

i don't mind the one guy as much... i think it's walt. the other guy, this is like his weekly therapy session. he talkes about anything and everything for about 20 minutes. then he spends 5 minutes trying to descibe a cigar.

it's funny background noise when you're working on homework, cleaning the office, whatever.
 
Good evening everyone, my first post!

I watched their "coolidor" video the other day and it's 35 minutes of my life I'll never get back. There were a couple of good pieces of information, but the video could have easily been 5-10 minutes long instead of 35. There were a lot of words being spoken, but he said very little.
 
PLEASE! :rolleyes: Who would take cigar advise from some dude like that. ??? How long has he been out of high school? :laugh:

Whoever said "I cringe", that's exactly it. And the dude with glasses, when he exhales smoke and looks back at the camera... It's f'n disturbing. Dude looks like he could just as easily be sitting on a barstool surrounded by cameras and lights while being interviewed by the guy from Dateline. "Says here you knew she was thirteen Alan."

That's not a real nice comment. These guys are people too who love cigars and are trying to contribute to the cigar community. Whether or not you like the reviews is your personal business but ripping the guys and comparing them to molesters is really in bad taste. I thought cigar smokers were a better class than that.
 
There are actually 3 guys who do the reviews (maybe more) but I've seen 3. The guy with the glasses has supposedly been smoking for 10+ years so I'm surprised by some of his descriptions, they're kind of well..off. The other guy is supposed to be the expert but has only been smoking for a couple of years. The third guy looks like he's still in high school and I believe I saw him in a Q & A video that they have. All in all, for a total novice, I think these guys are entertaining. Remember that it isnt' easy to be on camera and not make any mistakes. They do say, themselves that they're not right all the time and to please let them know if any mistakes are made. Hey if they're having fun, I say keep it up. Their knowledge on many things is pretty limited so I would suggest to them to get someone who has smoked a wide gambit and has some experience to join the crew. The one thing that bothers me about the whole deal is that they call cigars stogies. I just can't bring myself to call a premium cigar a stogie. G1
