Storing painted boxes of cigars?

I'm beginning to store boxes of cigars in a coolidor and some of the cigar boxes comes laquered with paint...like the RP vintage. My question is...is it ok to store it as is or should I take it out of the box and put them in another cigar box that is not painted???

your help is greatly appreciated.

You should not have any problems storing them in the box. Most (if not all) cigar boxes are find to throw into a cooler.
