Strange Cigar Stories

I was playing poker on line on Wednesday with the guys. Usually I sit with the laptop on the porch. The other night the dogs were in the back yard and I was smoking a Padron Anni (thanks mrjinglesusa) and had a very nice ash going. Usually I will catch it in the ashtray when it falls or I let it fall to the ground. This night it hits the ground, and seconds later my Jack Russell runs over and quickly eats it. I guess dogs know good cigars when they smell 'em. I guess I should feed them more often.

I set my cigar onto the ashtray once, then stepped away from my desk to let my dogs out. My wife was at the desk for a moment, knocked the cigar off into the tray portion, put it back in the notch, but did not tell me. When I took my next draw, I got a mouth full of ash. >< She had bumped the desk so hard, the foot had landed in the ashes..

Aw man I hate it when that happens, though it's usually my clumsiness that causes the whole stick to fall into the ashtray.

Then comes the decision of, do I try to wipe off the head the best I can and keep smoking?

It may be one of those decisions that is dictated by whether other people are around :whistling:
