Suicide Football Pool

im trying to gauge intrest on doing a suicide pool here at cp. the buy in would probably be $10 and, depending in the number of contestants, probably a box or two of nice isoms to the winner.

for those who arent familiar with suicice pools, the rules are simple: each week you pick the winner of one nfl game. if they win you play next week. if they lose your out. no spreads, just straight up winners. also, you cant pick one team to win more than once. once you pick new england to win, thats it, you cant pick them again.

its alot of fun and there is usually a winner by week 10. i thought the winner could let me know what he wants cigar wise and i would order and ship them to him/her.

if you win and keep winning, do you keep buying in? If you lose can you re-buy your way in? ??? First time I've ever heard of this pool.

ok, first, lumberg, i said in my original post you pick the smokes. the only reason i would buy them is because i would have the money. i guess if you want cash, that would be ok too. i even thought about having the buy in 2 premium smokes and winner takes all. im obviously up for whatever the majority wants.

no, the buy in gets you in for the whole season. no rebuys. just play until you lose (or win). you cant pick a team to win more than once, but you can pick a team to lose as much as you want.

of there are enough, yeah we can do 2nd place or even third.

this may be a regional thing. im suprised you guys dont do this anywhere else. here in dallas, we've got about 220 guys playing in this every year. our buy in is $100 a pop. all you have to do is pick a dozen or so winners in a row and collect a nifty $20,000+.
