15 years from now everyone will look back at this past Sunday as the day one of the most promising NHL prospects started his hockey career. Well, maybe! :sign:

It was my son's first hockey practice, I guess I'm a little excited for him!

Must be a proud Papa. Tell him the number one thing to become a good player in any sport, is to have an sport IQ. In his case an hockey IQ. Best of luck.

BTW is that your smoking chair there? :whistling:

Good for you.

That is a really great picture.

It is what life is really all about.

Much care,

Awesome picture Andy, I bet he is going to have a great time! I just signed my boys up for fall/winter basketball. It’s definitely a commitment taking them both to practice and spending Saturdays at the gym but it is one of life’s simple and most rewarding pleasures.

Besides, someday they will be pros and buying their pops all kinds of great cigars!

Andy that is a great picture. Remember don't be a hockey dad!

Man your chair is sweet, got to get one in my size!

Congrats!

If you are serious about him playing in the NHL someday, make sure you send him to North Dakota to play his college hocket!!!

Don't forget Chair envy too!! :p

Congrats on the boy playing hockey. Hope he has as much fun playing as you will watching.

Congrats Andy, you must be very proud. He looks about 6 or so, it's a great age isn't it? My 6 year old boy is starting wrestling in a month and flag football next fall. It's a great time!!!

It will be tough not being a "hockey Dad" since I've played since I was 5 and will be out on the ice helping coach!

And I'm hoping to boost his hockey IQ by giving him the opportunity to go to games as often as he wants. We have a Junior team here in town and D1 hockey 45 minutes away.

And also, that's not my smoking chair! It's the boy's smoking chair!

That's awesome. Some day you'll be wearing a replica of his jersy. Even better, one of his used game jerseys when he turns pro.

Congratulations, Andy. I'm sure he'll do his best.

My boy has shown a complete distaste for ice skating so it's looking like no hockey for him. That's fine with me, but TheWife© is not pleased. She thinks that I somehow steered him away from it and towards football. I have no comment in regards to that...

Pretty cool Andy. I wish I could get my son interested in sports. He has virtually no interest in any type of organized sport. The only one he'll play is basketball and about halfway through the season he's ready to quit. I blame my wife.... although nothing's ever her fault so it must really be mine somehow! :sign:

Good luck to him on his journey. Makes you wonder where the years have gone, soon it will be my grandchild gearing up and yours Andy, enjoy the moment.

Congratulations, Andy. I'm sure he'll do his best.

Yep, either that or an NFL kicker.

Nice picture Andy, I'm looking forward to my son getting into sports, but not ready for him to get there yet.
