Well,

I'm heading in for hernia repair surgery tomorrow morning! Can't say I'm too excited about it but its overdue and best to get it done before there are complications. Goin laproscopic so that should be a plus. Heres to hoping all goes well!

Smoke 'em if you got 'em!

Hope you have a quick recovery! My co-worker just had that done around Christmas time. He took a month off of sick/vacation time to ease his recovery. I think his doctor told him to not lift anything over 20 pounds for that month.

Thanks, guys! Yeah I plan on taking it easy for as long as I can stand it. Maybe work on my 52 ring bicep curls.... :whistling:

Well my surgery was successful, aside from going in 2 hours late. Man that anticipation is the worst part. Anyway, I'm home and resting, in pain, but that is to be expected of course.

Thanks for your well wishes, brothers!

Glad to see you made it through it ok! I wonder if pain-meds alter the taste of cigars . . . haha!

No rough sex or your junk will turn blue. Seriously.

hahaha yeah the doc actually mentioned this to me. He said: "its normal for everything to turn a funky shade of purple, and I mean everything. Go easy on the sex, and dont worry it wont fall off."

good times.

Damn I hope I never need to have that surgery, I wouldn't be able to pee for a month

Heyyooooooooo!

I had this done about 4 years ago.... Wasn't bad really pain wise/recovery wise.

The worst part about it was how tired you are post recovery. The Firsy day I woke up, I was probably only awake an hour or two, next day a couple of hours, etc. You really felt drained as your body is going through large repairs.

Of course mine wasn't laproscopic, they tore me open like a stuffed piggy and sewed me back up. Also mine was a umbilical hernia repair.

I wish you a speedy recovery!
