I had an SLR the other day and it had this T emblem band on it, I thought it meant the wrapper was Havana 2000, since I had had another H2000 cigar with the same emblem.

Then I got a pack of other cigars that were made by Tabacalera Espana and realized my mistake.

Surprised at the range of stuff that they make. Do they own the non-ISOM SLR brand?

Any reviews of them as an overall company?

Just curious

I believe the entity, Tabacalera Espana, only exists in the Thompson ad copy. Tabacalera de Espana and France's SEITA merged with Consolidated Cigar to become the conglomerate Altadis S.A. which, of late, began the purchase of JR Cigars. Of course, Altadis is a major owner, with the Cuban government, of the Cuban cigar industry.

Well they are still printing the emblem on cigar boxes and bands.

Meybe they still exist as a subsidiary for packaging purposes?

Those SLRs are at least two years old or more, thus the band being there. Those were plastered on several cigar brands at that time including Quintero.
