I have heard the same thing from several very well seasoned smokers.

Not worth it as far as I am concerned, but then again, some people look at me like I am nuts when I spend a few hundred on a box so to each his own!

I have a few from last year that are well into their sick period. I'm with the other guys; I could have a couple boxes of EL's or some other pretty stellar smokes for the cost of one of his bundles.

The last of my 05's are gone. The 06's are not yet ready to be brought out. The 07s will very likely never see the inside of my humi. I would perhaps buy one or two to see how they are in a few years, but I think I am about done with $50 custom rolled cigars that need that much time.
For $1000, I could buy a few boxes of nicely aged sticks. And I think I will.

It's too bad that his cigars have become so prohibitively expensive.
