I purchased these cigars from Taboocigars.com about one month ago due to the numerous positive reviews they have been receiving on another cigar forum. They have been sitting in my humidor at a solid 65/65 since I received them. From my understanding, the Special Forces Boot Camp is a milder version of their regular Special Forces blend. This cigar is in no way mild but rather a very nice complex medium bodied cigar.
The construction of this 6x60 cigar was very solid with no soft or hard spots. It was covered in a really nice maduro wrapper glistening with a nice oily sheen. The pre-lit aroma was very pleasing without that amonia smell I typcially smell with young maduro's.
The initial light was perfect but I did have to touch it up a few times but nothing major considering the size. The ash held firm throughout and there was very little flaking. There was tons of smoke and I tasted faint cocoa, nuts and leather throughout but the middle portion was my favorite part. There was some spiciness from the middle portion of the cigar to the end which really sealed the deal for me. I typcially don't care for large ring guage cigars but this is an excpetion.
I purchased these while on sale for $3.99 along with some Padron 1964's at a great price. They even threw in one of their Taboo Twist cigars at no charge so I could try it out. I highly recommend you try "The Twist" as well if you like a nice smooth and creamy mild to medium bodied cigar. Shipping costs were fair and the packaging was second to none. I will definitely be buying more of these along with the regular Special Forces blend once they are back in stock!
