Well, I got back from the VA Hospital after the Doc dropped one hell of a bomb on me. They are now worried I may be a canidate for a heart attack. Da man is trying to keep ole Mr Peat down so I have some major adjustments coming up. So if you dont see me on as much, probably cuz the new medicine I will be on will have me out cold for a few days till I get adjusted to it. Major changes ahead for me and its going to be a bumpy ride for a little bit. :(

damn that's tough, take care of yourself, they're doing wonders with heart conditions. best of luck!

Thats too bad Loren. You are in out thoughts and prayers. Hope things are going smoothly very quickly. Keep us posted and let us know what we can do, if anything. Take care

You'll be post padding with the reat of us by the weekend. Take care.

Most candidates for heart attack find out when they DROP DEAD. You're a damned lucky man, Peat! Its an annoying change to an otherwise comfortable lifestyle, but like I said, its better than being DEAD. Look on the bright side.

Peat,

Hang in there good buddy. As Null said, still being alive when diagnosed with these problems is a BIG positive.

You let us know if and how we can help out.

Wilkey

Sorry to hear about the news. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you. The bright side of this is that the doctors discovered it before a heart attack happened and can treat you to avoid it. I'm in a similar boat in that I have to see a cardiologist on a yearly basis and take drugs daily to keep the heart attack at bay. Good luck.

Good luck, Peat...
It is a good thing that they caught it BEFORE you had a heart attack.
Many people (including my dad) are not so lucky.

The life style changes will be the hardest, but listen to your doc.
Knowing about the risk is far better then finding out about it AFTER a heart attack.

Take care buddy...

Prayers sent Loren. My mother had been diagnosed with heart trouble, she went on meds, that was over 10 years ago and now the cardiologist doesnt even want to see her anymore (yes she is on meds).
