Growing too fast.
This is my second Tat Black, the first being a not so great experience due to an extremely loose draw. This one had a good weight in the hand and felt very firm when squeezed, so hoped the draw would be good on it. I punched the cap and the draw was perfect! After torching the foot, first draw was creamy vanilla with toasted nuts and a perfect amount of white pepper spice.
The burn was sharp with a mottled medium gray ash that held strong until I knocked it off. Flavors were incredible, and I mean downright fantastic! The smoke was cool and creamy, full of vanilla bean and rich roasted nuts. Spice was not over powering, but there in a perfect amount. Exhaling the medium bodied smoke through the mouth and nose left one of the best finishes I’ve tasted that was lasting on the palate.
I hated for this smoke to end and took it down until it burned my fingers. I will also add that after I put the nub down and stood up to go in, I had to actually sit back down. I was enjoying it so much, I hadn’t realized it had hit me so hard. Now that’s a good smoke!
