I have smoked a few of those newspaper wrapped that Dawg sent me and I enjoyed them. I'm all for winning these a couple times. 😁

I just got an email from small batch cigars that includes, among other things, 50% off a few HVC. For example, the HVC 500th Selectos would be $125 for a box of 20. There are also the 10th Anny., and Cerro Robusto or Toro. I haven't had any of those so can't say if they're any good, though.

Robert the only issue is, Small Batch is located in California and they charge me the 9% California State tax plus the 54% tobacco tax on top of the price. Makes it unaffordable for me to order from them. In the past I have had @CgarDan order for me and just reship to save $$.

Yeah that would certainly put a damper on it!

Looking at reviews the 500th Selectos may be hit or miss, but the 10th Anny seem solid. If there's interest I would be happy to place the order, or Dan could, or whomever. It looks like 20 of the 10th Anny 6.5 x 50 would be $154 to me, or 25 for $192.50.

The Cerro seems like a really good deal at $125 for 25 toros, or $120 for robustos. I've only had the maduro, but it was very good.

So.... I was thinking. This 50 ct could stretch for Nov and Dec doing 5ers. Average stick is $3.15 x 5 = $15.75 + $10.40 per ship = $26.15 divided by 26 spots = $1.00 x the 9 weeks = $9 per number. So $18 for 2 numbers and people are in for all Nov and Dec. 5 Saturdays in Nov and 4 Saturdays in Dec.

I'm sure these are very good cigars with Dan And Dawg recommending them.
