I had, for some time, been interested in these, so I ordered some. And it was worth it! I read somewhere that these are the kind of cigars that you either love or hate, and I definately belong to the latter group
The one I smoked was a Torito, almost like a robusto to its size. It felt like oily sandpaper. Yeah I know it sounds weird, big whoop, wanna fight about it? :sign: It looks like a strong smoke, very dark wrapper, and that's exactly what it was.
I drilled a hole in it and lit it. The strong taste kicked in right away. It was like dark coffee and dark chocolate with black pepper. I remember having something similar long ago, but at that time I wasn't ready for it. Now I must say I loved it. The flavor was great through the whole cigar, leaving me a bit woozy afterwards. It burned pretty well all the time, only had to correct it once. The rest of the times it corrected itself. As for the draw, perfect. For this price, I think the Te-Amo is a great smoke. Of course I could have gotten a fluke that was this good :whistling:
Now I'm curious, how many of you have tried these? Did you like them?
