I had, for some time, been interested in these, so I ordered some. And it was worth it! I read somewhere that these are the kind of cigars that you either love or hate, and I definately belong to the latter group

The one I smoked was a Torito, almost like a robusto to its size. It felt like oily sandpaper. Yeah I know it sounds weird, big whoop, wanna fight about it? :sign: It looks like a strong smoke, very dark wrapper, and that's exactly what it was.

I drilled a hole in it and lit it. The strong taste kicked in right away. It was like dark coffee and dark chocolate with black pepper. I remember having something similar long ago, but at that time I wasn't ready for it. Now I must say I loved it. The flavor was great through the whole cigar, leaving me a bit woozy afterwards. It burned pretty well all the time, only had to correct it once. The rest of the times it corrected itself. As for the draw, perfect. For this price, I think the Te-Amo is a great smoke. Of course I could have gotten a fluke that was this good :whistling:

Now I'm curious, how many of you have tried these? Did you like them?

The one I had this past Cinco de Mayo tasted grassy...bland. It burned OK, but I was disappointed overall.

The only ones I have had were not good,
Bland and bitter is the best I could describe them.
Sure sounds like the one you smoked had better tobacco :D

Been a few years since I have tried these. I didn't like them at all then but I think I remember reading that they had changed the blend up a bit so they may be better now.

Anyway, happy you enjoyed them.

I hate to take over CCats duties here . . . but if you liked them then you were a part of the former "love" them group, not the latter "hate" them group.

On to real business . . .

I too have been interested but not to the point of buying any. I would however be interested in a small trade with you. Interested? We can include more than just the TeAmo too in the exchange. PM me if you are interested.

Honest mistake. Of course I belong to the group that loves em :p Thanks for correcting me (grrr... ;)) PM sent about trade JAE.

The one's I had were definately maddies, they were almost black. Looks like there aren't many Te-Amo fans on this forum ??? Well I'll smoke enough of them for all of you!

If you're gonna smoke them stick to the maddies.
