Regardless, when the platform clears the ramp, the loadmaster says those magic words:

"LOAD CLEAR!!!"

Watched the drops live from the rooftop of Bldg 349 over at Eglin. Sure would like to see more of those built. So does that make the Load a bombadier too?

I too was at Eglin when they tested it. Quite impressive piece of technology. My kids used to ride the display model in front of the museum!

I was in Oman when we dropped the last BLU-82 in Afghanistan in late 01. The Predator feed was AWESOME!! Big, conventional bombs are great for psy-ops!
