Texas Bird Watching

Definitely a Blue Heron. I've seen a bunch of them when I holiday in Rockport (just N of Corpus Christi). There's a park with a large pond across the street from my house and we get a lot of White Herons and they look very similar.

I live west of Pompano beach Florida, on the edge of the everglades. There is a large canal behind my home that is continuous "Wild Kingdom" replay. Gators, birds of all types, 'coons, etc. We have a fox that passes by on his schedule. Early morning is best.

Now if you want to check out a special bird South Florida is better known for, check this out. ;)
