1. La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or #2 - May 1998

Solid smoke, but a very tight draw. The flavor was extremely well-developed and aromatic. Quite enjoyable.

2. Hoyo de Monterrey Corona - Dec 1998

A good smoke with a classic, refined taste. The burn was uneven, but it was partially due to the swirling winds.

3. Trinidad Colonials - unknown box date

The first inch was fantastic. Rich flavors and perfect draw. Then it hit a hard spot. Wrapper started to warp. Took a little bit of work to soften it up and keep it going. Had to let it die down when the mojito-making contest took place. The relight was decent, just wasn't able to get back to the quality of the first inch.

Overall, awesome day. With the winds moving like they were, I stayed away from the longer smokes (like Esplendido, Sir Winstons, Lusitanias). However, I did see a guy hit up a HdM Particulares EL... 9 1/2 inches of smoke that took him something like 3 hours to finish. :D
