Thank you to Rod and the FOGs

I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you to Rod and the FOGs. There have been multiple lengthy threads on here lately that have played out like a Shakespearean tragedy. I have read these threads and will admit at times found myself questioning the advice provided only to read on further to see that the advice was absolutley correct. I am still new to the world of cigars and find myself over anxious to try so many cigars in so little time. From reading posts on this site I have gained knowledge and learned from other's experiences unfortunately. I have realized that I need to just enjoy what I have and slowly pace myself. So Rod thank you for allowing this community to come together and providing me with the opportunity to make new friends. To all the FOGs, thank you for your words of wisdom and looking out for me and the rest of us that are new to cigars. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow in this great hobby of ours.

I've had countless "WTF?" moments here, only to sit on my damn typing hands a few more posts and see clarity dawn like sunrise over the rooftops . . . and to stop and realize that something rare happens here on a regular basis: people act like grownups. :thumbs:

In my little time here I have born witness to the same dramas play out. I share the same appreciation for what I've learned. I think this is a great community. That is evident by the way people look out for each other even when it is not the easy thing to do. I hope I never make those mistakes, and with what I've learned recently I think it is less likely I will.

I mean it sincerely when I say thank you to all the FOGS who have shared their knowledge and experience with the forum.

Now... Back to reading more and posting less.
