So, as you all know we had a great time in Honduras. I had to find SOME way to thank the boys, especially since they ended up having me for an extra couple days after the rest of the crew had to go home. So here's my idea.

I finished it today. It was one of the more complex inlays I've ever had to route for... never inlaid script before. It's wenge and white limba wood for those of you that are wood nuts like me, and was finished in tru-oil buffed out with paste wax.
I should hopefully get this in the mail tomorrow and hope they like it!

Did you need to be wearing it while you took the picture?
 
Yes I had to be wearing it! Had to make sure the sucker was comfortable... it IS quite large. Neither really wears buckles, and in a conversation I had with Nimish where he talked about getting Rocky a buckle made for some occasion he said that Rocky probably wouldn't wear it, but instead display it... so in this case I don't think the sharing will be difficult (conversation was spawned by my personal love of GIANT buckles). I plan to let them know though that if there's a large battle for ownership and wear-time then I'd be happy to craft a second, time permitting.
And no, that's a faux gator belt I believe... bought it like a decade ago so I could be a little foggy on the specifics.
