The begining of the end

I am handing in my dissertation later in the morning today. I've learned alot in these seven years as a grad student. Most of all how long you stay is pretty much luck. So in 8 days I will have defended and will be a Dr. Sims. Then I'll be moving to Mississippi. I've also learned a fair amount here form you guys. I tried an ACID over the week-end and yep they suck. I just needed to know what crap taste like, so I have apoint of reference for good things. So if anyone in the Salt Lake area, or along the drive from here to there want to get together let me know.

Great accomplishment, congrats. Just remember to tell people that M.D.s only go to school for 4 years, lawyers for 3. Ph.D.s on the other hand, went to school for 5+ years! :laugh:

Bchem, Congrats on your defense. I'm finishing in Medicinal Chemistry, in Natural Product Biosynthesis. I am truly a jack of all trades master of none. I've done everything from genetics to organic synthesis. What is the structure in the avatar? and what was your subject?

I may quite definitely swing through Dallas. I can take 20 straight to Jackson.
