The day is finally here! New humidor.

Dang, I was going to post my 2 humidors, but prob not after seeing yours 😵‍💫
That is sweet man.
Post them up Frank! We are all here to celebrate the fellowship. The only comparisons here are between cigars. My collection would pale in comparison to most here but we are all here to learn, enjoy and celebrate the wonderful BotL.

Wondering how long it takes to keep a constant 70. Is it hard to get it going?
Holds temp super well. RH is tougher - still running slightly high. I pulled all water out of the humidification system and have 65% heartfelt beads on each level. I’m giving it a couple more days and I’ll make one more RH calibration adjustment (I have 4 calibrated Govees - every other shelf). I have it set at 68 degrees and 66% RH. House is 72-73. When the compressor kicks on the RH drops but comes back up quickly. The Govees can show the average over any period of time so that’s really what I look at.

Maybe just run the active humidification system the parts of the year that ambient RH is low (heat on?) since you are in TX. Just a thought.

Yeah I can’t turn it off but it shouldn’t be running right now anyway. I took the water out just to remove any excess moisture. May need to add it back this winter.
